I like that this phone is touchscreen and has the features that I am interested in - like the 2MP camera and the music player. Nicely designed too!

I am really disappointed with this phone. I am currently on my third Venus. The one I currently have, I have had for 3 months. In that time, the chrome has almost completely come off, and I haven't even dropped the phone. LG used really cheap material when they made this phone. I also have dust UNDER my screen. I took the phone to Verizon to see if they could get the dust out. The used compressed air around the outside/"seams" and actually forced more dust under the screen. Since the dust doesn't affect how the phone works, it is not covered under warranty and there is nothing I can do. So I, technically, have had this LG Venus for 3 months and it looks UGLY because of LG's poor materials and construction. I will be stuck with this ugly phone until it breaks or I renew my contract.

LG could have used a better material for the fake chrome. I have had this phone for maybe two months and I dislike it. I am getting the Voyager for the fact that it is better designed!!! I dont think that you should get this phone for the fact that the touch screen takes a while to respond.

I am currently on my 3rd Venus phone and I am still having trouble. This last time, Verizon recommend that I just upgrade early (at my cost) and get another phone. They said I was better off spending the $50 towards a different model than trying to replace the phone. I think it is outrageous that I am penalized for a phone that was not manufacturered properly. Problems: touch screen, texing, battery life - powers down in middle of call
