At $129.99 with a contract, the enV2 is a compelling phone for voice calling and text messaging. Yes, the Blackberry Pearl does everything the enV2 does and moreâ??but it's more expensive, and the enV2's larger, much simpler keypad should appeal to...

The LG enV(2) is a slim and attractive handset, with a roomy keypad, bright dual displays, a good multimedia feature set, a full QWERTY keyboard, plus great call quality. The LG enV(2) does not offer newer features from the first enV. Also, photo...

The LG enV2 has seen some nice, cosmetic improvements, and these might be just enough to tip the scales from a phone we didn't like very much to one we'd actually recommend. The look of the device is much more adult, but also more polished, and the...

When the Voyager came out, it seemed like a natural upgrade to the enV as it had a QWERTY keyboard and offered more multimedia features and a touch screen on top of strong messaging. But with the release of enV2, the upgrade path is forked...

I absolutely LOVE this phone. I haven't found a single thing wrong with it yet. The thing I love about it most is that you can text on the outside and the inside...my first 2 phones were just basic flip phones, so I got really used to the T9Word text input system. The awesome thing about this phone was that I wanted something more sophisticated this time around but I wanted to still be able to use T9...I can type fast on it. Anyways, I can use T9 on the outside of the phone and its just great! This phone can do it all! LG makes great great great phones and this one is surely amazing!

i can not get this phone to play 3gp files! it plays 3g2 but when you press play on the 3gp files you get the reply menu. Verizon tells me they are aware of the problem and lg needs to release firmware to fix it! fix this and this phone will be the hottest thing going. email access, internet, navi. it has it all.

The phone that fits my needs. Good call quality. Great battery life. Improved keyboard. Two PROBLEMS: 1. No QUICK-PHONE-LOCK button (i.e. requires passcode to unlock). Annoying to me. 2. BLUETOOTH QUITS WORKING *IF* you TURN BLUETOOTH MODE OFF on the (enV2) phone after a discover+pair+connect to a bluetooth device. Found hits using Google.com that describe my problem to A T!!! Work-Around from *VERIZON TECH SUPPORT*: 1. With the *phone powered up*, and *bluetooth mode enabled* REMOVE THE BATTERY from the (enV2) PHONE. 2. TURN the bluetooth device (e.g. headset) OFF. 3. WAIT 10 to 15 SECONDS and turn the enV2 ON. 4. REPEAT DISCOVER+PAIR+CONNECT. 5. NEVER, AGAIN TURN OFF BLUETOOTH MODE ON THE PHONE (enV2). LEAVE BLUETOOTH MODE ON. The above worked flawlessly. P.S. I now own a second bluetooth headset thanks to this BUG. Regards, jimb33lg

Well all Ive got to say is great things about this phone. First off this phone allows you to customize it to fit your personality. Also if you are someone who loves to text i HIGHLY recommend the enV2 to you. Although i am having a big problem with my buttons on the exterior part of the phone. My clr, ok, 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 9, *, 0, #, and send buttons no longer function so basically the front of my enV2 is no longer useful. I suggest they look into this problem to see what could be causing a premature button failure. Ive only had this phone for a couple months and its broken already.

The phone has a lot of great features. There is one annoying problem with the phone. When I carry it in my pocket it has a habit of dialing random numbers. Normally to get the keypad to work you have to hit the OK button twice and then scroll through the numbers, however when it self dials it seems to by pass that process. The phone has even dialed 5 numbers at the same time. LG needs to look into this problem and correct it, quickly.

I own this phone currently, It's great, music quality is great! Texting is a breeze with the qwerty keyboard. The 2mp Camera takes the best photos outside colors are sharp and vibrant. The phone has a nice "grip" to it due to the rubber backing which is a really nice touch. I do wish the phone was a little bigger on the front but otherwise its a great phone packed with a lot of features that are put to good use. The keypad has a setting, you can set to 7 secs is the lowest....my experiences are that you need to wait before you put it in your pocket otherwise it will press a number or key which could cause the problems with the dialing. In fact I had my phone turned off and put it into my pocket and it started up because it pressed the "end/pwr" key which isnt a problem because I have my phone locked upon power up which blocks unecessary key presses. The phone is very responsive sends text messages fast and the phone is very durable. If you want a phone that is a easy texter and not so complicated choose the env2, but I wouldnt mind getting the voyager or dare =)

This is a great phone. However, 1. I am restricted to only 10 contacts per group! I have 40 to 50 family numbers. Not counting business contacts. Why the restriction to 10? 2. The battery is completely unreliable. It shows 3 bars and then goes dead. The battery doesn't last for more than 18 hours on standby! My old Samsung would last for about 7-days, before I needed to charge it.

I really love this phone. I got this phone when it first came out and it did have some bugs that were recently fixed with a firmware update. The ONLY issue I know have is that the recent firmware update has messed up the battery strength. I used to get 4 days until my battery went down to 2 bars (basically 10% of the battery left) and now I get only 2 days. I even switched out the battery and had the same issue. The phone is rated as up to 320 mins of talk time and over 500 hours of standy. I made one 15 minute call, 21 txt messages, and about 5 minutes of web surfing. Not what I would call excessive use. Please someone at LG test the battery power of a phone with the old V04 firmware vs. a phone with the V06 firmware. Thank you.

The phone itself is a good phone but it doesnt lock and the silver paint chips. i had the phone for a month and all the silver paint was pretty much gone. its a texting phone. it should be able to withstand a month of texting and not wear down to nothing. i have a cover now cause it looks freaky with little bits of silver here and there.

I got this phone not to long ago. I was pleased with it at first, but now I have run into my deal of problems with this phone. First, it will turn off randomly even if the battery is full. Second, the ok button on the front doesn't work. Third, when I take pictures it takes forever to load and they freeze. My friend has the same phone but hasn't run into these problems or any problems at all. This is just a heads up to people who are looking into this phone.

This phone is a piece of JUNK! I am on my second phone in less than 1 year and it turns off randomly, even with a full charge (the reason I traded in the first one I had). Also, the OK button and a few of the other buttons on the outside no longer work. The silver is chipping off, it freezes when taking pictures...I could go on and on. I also had a LG chocolate that was a piece of junk. I think LG needs to step it up a bit on their cell phones....

I currently own this phone. This is my personal phone, while my original enV is my business/ career phone. I've had it for 6 months now, and there are no big problems with it. The only thing this thing has on the enV is the camera quality, video quality, interface, and the call quality. It is much slimmer than the original enV but the only real problem I have is when I try to text fast, and use the space button it comes up with the period.

I purchased this phone less than a month ago and the front screen is cracked. The phone was fine the night before and the next morning after sitting on the table all night turned it on and it was cracked. Took it to Verizon and they refused to look at it. Like the phone up till now..
