IMPORTANT: Because saved user information may be deleted during the update, it is recommended that you save any important data onto a PC using the PC Sync Feature.

You have to install LGMobile Updater Application before download manual, software or
lastest firmware for your phone. Please check up whether your PC can support the
following requirement.
- 1GHz or higher Pentium-compatible processor
- At least 256 MB of RAM (memory)
- Windows 2000 (SP4 or later) or Windows XP (SP1 or SP2), Windows Vista
- Administration rights on the PC for software installation
- High-speed Internet connection

Preparation Requirements
- Fully charge the battery.
- It is recommended that you save any important data onto the PC using the PC Sync. Feature.
- Close PC Sync/applications before proceeding with the update.
- Calling and messaging functions are not available during the update process.
- Remove the SD card.
- Do not disconnect the USB cable until the update is complete. Disconnecting the USB cable or interrupting the update process before it is complete may cause your handset to fail to operate.
- The handset is automatically reset during this process.
- The update takes approx. 10-30 minutes depending on the model and downloading environments
FAQS
- Q) Will a Web upgrade delete saved information (telephone directory, photos, premium content)?
- A) A Web upgrade may delete saved user information. We recommend that you save important information on your PC using LG Sync.
- Q) Can old models be upgraded via the Web?
- A) The Web upgrade does not support old models since they have different specs and structures. The Web upgrade only supports current models.
- Q) What happens when the product is upgraded via the Web?
- A)The product will be upgraded when new services are added or when the original functions and/or information such as the mobile communication system support program supplements are changed or modified. Therefore, no new functions are added.
- Q) The upgrade process has stopped suddenly. What should I do?
- A)There may be a problem with the server. In this case, unplug the cable and restart the Web upgrade after a few seconds. If it still does not work, the product should be tested by the LG Electronics service centre.
- Q) What should I do if the message "cannot find the page" appears during a Web upgrade.
- A)There may be a problem with the server. In this case, select 'Tools>Internet Options>Delete cookies and files' in your browser. If it still does not work, please visit our service centre.
